Cover letters are written in many variations, depending not only the job to which they address, but also on the applicant and that applicants particular set of skills and background. For this reason, no two cover letters are exactly alike aside from difference in wording. Each cover letter is as unique as the applicant who writes it.
Below are two examples of cover letters. They are different from one another to illustrate diversity, which falls in line with their primary purpose, to briefly and colorfully reflect the individuality of the person that each is supposed to represent. Neither is an actual cover letter, no real people were used in the making of these, but examples do illustrate how cover letters are generally constructed and appear on the printed page.

As a house wife who has created entire meals for several public and private events, including weddings and community gatherings, I own several of your recipe books, including Creating a Feast on a Shoestring and Professional Recipes for the Home Cook. In recent years I have provided a service for community organizations and even began my own private enterprise that has offered both cooking meals and self made recipe books.
